CCW / CPL Training
We have been providing CCW / CPL Training since 2001.
We offer an 8 hr, "1-day" class that meets and exceeds the training requirements to obtain your concealed pistol license. A certificate of completion is issued at the end of the class.
Our instructors have current, and previous, law enforcement experience. This provides the student with a unique training experience that includes many advanced shooting techniques, and a better knowledge of concealed carry. Having the largest certified instructor team in the area, with both men and women instructors, we are able to meet your needs on every level.
We are endorsed by the National Rifle Association (NRA), the Michigan Coalition of Responsible Gun Owners (MCRGO), the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI), and the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers Association (ILEETA).
The class is educational, as well as very informative covering defensive shooting techniques, preparation of surviving a defensive encounter, Michigan concealed pistol laws, and selecting a firearm for self-defense. This class is geared towards shooters with limited or NO experience, to those shooters that have lots of experience. You don't have to be the best shot, nor do you have to have much knowledge of firearms to complete the course. We want the student to have an enjoyable experience, and understand what is truly important for carrying a firearm for self defense. It isn't just about having the firearm. You need to know how and when you can use it.
Classes are conducted on weekends, and weekdays. Reservations are taken on a "first come, first serve basis", until the class is full. A $50 DEPOSIT IS NEEDED TO RESERVE A PLACE IN CLASS.
What you will need:
- A semi-auto pistol or revolver (no single-action only revolvers or scoped pistols)Only have one pistol? We allow sharing of pistols on the range.
- 100 rounds of ANY TYPE of ammunition (This is an NRA standard)
- Eye and ear protection (if you have it)
- Boots, or footwear, that you do not care to get dirty
(We also rent pistols for $15. Student purchases the ammunition, prior to class date. .40cal, 9mm, 357SIG, 38spl, .22cal, 10mm)
